First few weeks!
Who wore it best? (Pictured - Paul, my brother and Felix)
Cadillac Ranch on the way in to Amarillo.
We spent a week at the ranch in Doss, Tx.
Smokin' hot Felix.
Grandpa taught us how to feed the cows (and Felix).
Showing Felix around on the 4 wheeler.
Some quality time in Huntington beach with our other family. (Pictured - Escobar family minus Gavin)
The girls loved the van, Charlotte could not get over the fact that we were just going to "drive around" and live in it.
Hilarious times in San Pedro.
Beautiful bike ride through San Pedro.
Sunset at Griffith Park.
Bouldering at Mt. Rubidoux in Riverside, CA.
Fuller family dinner before we left the L.A. area.
Glam shots at Point Dume in Malibu.
Santa Barbara was too fancy for us regular folk. (We sat by Jason Segel at a coffee shop right before this)
Climbing at sunset above Santa Barbara.
Sunrise drive through the Santa Barbara mountains.
Finally took Felix on Hazard Peak trail in Montana De Oro!
Stopping through Los Osos to see some of Felix's friends! (kept forgetting to take pictures with everyone but thankfully Eileen was on top of it).
Technically the first few weeks of our trip in the books! A lot of it was spent driving my car to Texas to store some of our stuff, visit family, store my car at my parents and deal with lots and lots of logistical things that came with leaving our jobs, having renters, changing addresses and insurances etc. We are officially back in CA and are still spending the next few weeks mostly visiting friends/family before we leave the state completely while enjoying some of our favorite CA spots. We are extremely grateful to our friends and family who helped us officially get started with our adventure and very thankful to get all this time with loved ones before it's just the two of us for awhile!
Bishops Peak now and then! The bottom picture was our first ever picture together 5 years ago, we re took it just this morning (3/21/22). I never thought we looked older than when we met until now....

Looks like a full trip already! Keep taking those pictures. Safe travels, love mom
