How this all started.

Felix and I met in December of 2016 in the prime of my traveling therapy career. He somehow convinced me to stay in CA just long enough for us to fall in love, get engaged and courthouse married almost 5 years later (wedding plans in the works for 2023). I had the idea for me to continue travelling for therapy jobs and live in a van and he could just come with me - his response was "absolutely not". I scoffed and wished he would actually consider it, not realizing how big of a deal it was for him to leave his job as a firefighter. However, about 2 weeks later on a hike down from a climb Felix begins the conversation with "so I figured out how we can make this travelling thing work". Essentially, we decided we would plan to save up enough for us to both not work and just travel for a few years while we decide where to live next and settle down. Felix tends to always come around to my great ideas while also making them better and realistic :).

We have officially both left our jobs that we truly love in Fresno and Hanford, CA in order to spend 2 years living in the van that we (mostly Felix) built out this last year. We plan to climb as much as we can while also exploring the country, biking, visiting friends and dreaming of our future home/location. This will be our platform to update friends and family, as well as give y'all an itinerary so we can meet up and see people along the way! Please reach out if you want to meet up with us!
